A DIY System for converting your Fiction or Non-Fiction book into an ePUB and Kindle (.mobi) format.
Converting your book into an ePUB and Kindle format can be a total “pain in the tush”
OR NOT!
You probably think converting your book into an ePUB and Kindle format is too complicated and way beyond your capabilities. Well you’re wrong!
If you can….
Copy and Paste
Use a text editor
and, push a button
that’s all you need to know because
my videos show you the rest.
Hi, I’m Judith
and I really have found an EZ way to convert your book into an ePUB and Kindle formats…
whether my ePUB and Kindle Format Course is right for you will depend on how you answer these two burning questions:
Do you own a Mac, Windows or Linux computer?
If you do, then my course will work for you. Yes, the free software I show you how to use to make your ePUB and Kindle ebook is cross platform (meaning it will work on whatever operating system you’re now using).
Do you know the difference between conversion and ebook formatting?
Conversion is simply clicking a few buttons in a software program and whalah, you have an ebook. Which is great if you want to have “CRAPPY” ebook none of your readers will enjoy reading because there will be extra characters and empty pages throughout your ebook. That’s a sure fire way to get bad reviews and put future sales in the toilet.
So if a company tells you they can do your ebook conversion for $50 (the average is somewhere around $200) or less – be afraid, very afraid. So ok, you don’t need to be afraid just be extremely cautious if you plan to go that route because you’re paying for the conversion not the validated ePUB format required by Apple .
Since you have to prepare (format) your manuscript first so the conversion goes smoothly with no errors, why not go the extra step of pushing a few buttons yourself?
That’s where my ePUB and Kindle Format Course comes to your rescue.
You’ll do your ePUB and Kindle formatting and converting in one program.
Hand coding an ePUB is tedious and time consuming so I went looking for a better way. One that would let a beginning Author with no prior experience other than using a word processing program create an ePUB and Kindle format that would validate.
I found it, tested it extensively and was super happy with the ePUB and Kindle format results so I created 30+ videos!
Now don’t panic
I made that many videos because I wanted to cover how to make both fiction and non-fiction ePUB and Kindle ebooks.
If you’re a Fiction Author, you only need to…
- separate your book into chapters and,
- the HTML is written for you with a push of a button.
The only ePUB and Kindle format codes you might want to add manually are bold and italic which I show you how to do. This means your ePUB and Kindle format file is simple to do and fast; therefore, if you have a lot of fiction books that need to be converted into ebooks, you’re going to love this program and my videos.
Non-Fiction Authors – your ebooks require a little more ePUB and Kindle format coding but I show you the necessary codes in a very straight forward way to make your:
- chapter headings
- sub-headings
- lists (with bullets an/or numbers) and,
- how to add images as separate pages or in your text to make a great looking ebook.
Is this as EZ as a fiction ebook? No. But’s it’s not difficult just a bit more time consuming. But definitely not as time consuming as doing all the coding by hand.
I chose the most difficult ebook I wrote and explained each thing I needed to code to get the look I wanted. I had font color changes, centering, etc. You name it, my ebook had it. When I pushed the button to check the ePUB validation, I got errors. Hey nobody’s perfect. So my videos also show you how to correct them.
Are you ready for even more good news?
The program I show you how to use actually makes the ePub and Kindle format files for your Table of Contents and your Table of Contents NCX (navigation) file, your Title Page so you don’t have to.
Actually, it makes all the files you need. All you have to do is make sure a check mark is in the appropriate boxes and press a button. How awesome is that?
Pretty Awesome but I didn’t stop there.
Your ebook’s ePUB format must validate or some eBook sites (i.e., Apple iBooks) won’t even accept your ebook. So my videos show you just how to do this EZ-ily by simply adding some epub check files to the program.
