Best Marketing Tool … Part 1

There is another post where I talk about becoming a Charter Member (this means no monthly fees ever!) for Promocode software.  There are only 92 charter memberships left and I would be remiss if I didn’t give you reasons why this is the best marketing tool for your online business.

Promocode software is not like coupon codes where you offer simply a discount for one of your products.  Yes, it can be used that way but you wouldn’t be using it’s full potential.

Some more ways you can use Promocode software:

  1. You can create Special Offers for your customers only.  If you have different email lists in your autoresponder who signed up for different things you offered free, you can put one promocode box on your front page and send each list a different code.  Each code would send them to a different special offer on your site.  You can also give the special offer a sense of urgency by having it expire in X number of days.

  1. Offer Special Incentives.  Let’s say you post quite often in forums or use social marketing.  You could place in your signature or page, the code for the incentive and direct these new prospects back to your home page where your code box is at.  Not only do these new prospects get to see your site but you are also getting them to take action by putting in the special incentive code.  And we all know once you’ve overcome the “taking action hurdle” for new customers, your sales will increase.
  2. You can have Secret Pages on your website.  Your visitor must have a code to see those pages.
  3. Run a Sweepstakes Offer (enter a code to win!!).   Send an email or offline postcard promoting one of your products and with unique codes but only 1 or 2 have the actual winning codes.  You win because you are drawing attention back to your site and encouraging more unique visitors.
  4. Fear of Loss - again this is an urgency marketing technique because you will be limiting the amount of promo codes (coupons) that can be redeemed for your product.  After 10 or what ever you decide coupons are used, the offer expires and an alternate sales page (message) is displayed.
  5. Use a unique code for One Time Offer.  If your visitor decides not to buy and leaves the site, they must enter the code in order to see the offer again.  When they input it the next time, it has expired and the page lets them know you meant business — it really was a one time offer.  But now you can offer them a new deal (not as good as the one time offer) but still a better deal than your regular price.  You better believe they won’t pass up your new deal this time.

These are just some of the reasons why I jumped at the chance to become a Charter Member of Promocode Software.  I love the idea I’m on the ground floor of what is going to be the best marketing tool ever.  After the Charter Memberships are gone, it will be a monthly fee.

Another reason is the owners responsiveness to questions asked in his forum.  Plus the forum also has a section where you can put your offers.  And, other marketing people explain new and inventive ways to use promocode.  It’s so EZ you only have to know how to copy and paste.  And, I love EZ!!!
